Fall Family Weekend: Self-Guided Tour & Escape Room Activity In-Person

Escape Room Description: Are you up for a challenge? Western Libraries is offering an escape room activity for students and families. Participants will work in groups to solve puzzles and riddles using clues and hints in order to escape the Libraries within 45 minutes. Participants should meet at the Circulation Desk on the Haggard wing of Western Libraries. (The activity will take place in a variety of spaces in the library (e.g. Research & Writing Studio, study rooms, Special Collections).

This is a ticketed event with limited space.

Western Libraries Self-Guided Tour & Mountaineering Exhibit: Pick up a “Guide to the Library” brochure from the Circulation Desk and learn more about the various programs available to students. Stop by Special Collections (Wilson Library 6th floor) to view a new exhibit, “To the Mountaintop: A Social History of Mountaineering,” which explores the complex relationship between humans’ love of high altitudes and issues of gender, race, and class.
